Large Storage

We make the deluxe collegiate athletic locker with door out of heavy-duty steel. The 16-gauge frame and 18-gauge back give this metal sports locker a strong and rigid design. Both sides and the door have diamond perforations for increased air flow. The extra ventilation is perfect for holding sports gear after a game to help it dry. The extra air flow is especially helpful when used as a hockey storage locker where gear can be cold and damp. The top shelf sits 12 inches from the top of the locker and creates an additional storage area for a helmet or other small gear. The coat rod and four single prong hooks provide storage for hanging uniforms or street clothes.

The door of the deluxe collegiate athletic locker is reinforced for added security. This heavy-duty door come standard with a recessed handle. These handles sit flush with the locker door and are also less likely to snag on clothing as people walk by. Easily secure the lift handle inside the recessed cup with a user provided padlock. The top of the door is pre-punched and ready for you to add a personalized Number Plate.

Compartment Storage

The smaller upper compartment features a standard steel pull handle. These pull handles include a built-in padlock hasp that can also be secured with a user provided padlock. The highlight of the deluxe collegiate locker with door is the 18-inch-high interior compartment bench. These lockers with a bench seat provide a place to sit while getting ready for the big game. The lower bench compartment features a continuous hinge on the back and lifts like a lid to store bulky items. The lid of the bench also includes a hasp that fits into a recessed steel cup and is easily secured with a user provided padlock.

Assembly and Installation

The deluxe collegiate locker with door ships unassembled. Easily put this locker together in the field with nuts and bolts. The frame ships as one piece ready to attach to the sides and back of the locker. The locking compartments then attach to the sides and back of the locker. To save yourself even more time, you can order this locker assembled and Lyon will professionally assemble the locker for you. Lyon’s assembly team uses pop rivets in place of using nuts and bolts. Using pop rivets ensures a strong and durable assembly.

Lyon strongly recommends that you anchor your command gear lockers to either the wall or floor or both if possible. Adding Lyon’s Anchoring Angles help prevent lockers from tipping over when they are top heavy.
