The N35603010550 overhead storage cabinet offers even more storage space for items above your Lyon modular cabinets. It fits neatly on top of our modular cabinets. This closed overhead metal cabinet allows for quick and easy access to items that do not fit as well into drawers. These overhead cabinets work great in auto shops or machine shops. You can also use them above a Lyon workbench to add more storage above your workstation.

You can choose both a cabinet color and a door color for your overhead unit. Our durable powder coat paint finish will help protect your cabinets from harsh use. Lyon proudly makes these overhead cabinets in the USA.

Overhead Unit

Lyon makes the N35603010550 overhead storage cabinet out of heavy-gauge steel. The flat bottom of this unit allows you to attach the overhead directly to your cabinet below. This unit also includes one adjustable shelf. Easily adjust this shelf on 3/4-inch vertical centers. It’s easy to adjust your shelf spacing when your storage needs change! An additional base shelf sets flush in the bottom of the cabinet. The 1-inch high raised edge on the sides and back of each shelf help keep small items from slipping between the shelf and the cabinet. The shelves of this closed overhead storage cabinet can also hold lots of heavy items such as tools. Easily store as much as 400 lbs on each shelf!

Door and Locking Option

The N35603010550 cabinet features two swing doors. A continuous hinge keeps each door in alignment. The doors open 180° and close flush. Magnetic door stops hold the doors closed when the cabinet is not in use. You can also add a lock to the right swing door for security. The two point keyed locking system includes secures the door closed and includes two keys.

Assembly and Installation

The Lyon N35603010550 overhead storage cabinet ships assembled. Lyon recommends that overhead units be secured to the cabinet below. Use the included fasteners to attach the overhead directly to your double wide Lyon modular cabinet. When you order your overhead with a matching modular cabinet, Lyon will attach the cabinets for you! Be sure to anchor the base of your cabinet to prevent tipping.

Please Note: A double wide overhead unit width must be used with either a double wide lower cabinet OR two standard wide lower cabinets.
Using two standard wide cabinets will produce a 3/8-inch gap on either side of the overhead unit.
