Auto Parts Workbench Kits
Convert your existing Lyon modular drawer cabinet into a work table with workbench kits. These pre-configured kits have everything you need to make a steel workbench with drawers including the hardwood top as well as the assembly hardware. Using a Lyon modular drawer cabinet to make a workbench lets you keep everything organized. Always have both tools and parts within arms reach.
Lyon offers two different styles of wood top kits. Assemble the steel workbench legs on either the left side or the right side of the modular drawer cabinet. Kit Style 1 includes a top, closed panel leg, and adjustable footrest. Kit Style 2 includes all these items as well as a back stop and shelf riser. Other workbench top material such as steel, stainless steel, and plastic laminate are also available. We’d be happy to provide a quote for your work area.

Auto Parts Counter Tops
We have tops for our modular drawer cabinets in either hardwood or stainless steel. The hardwood counter top is kiln dried with a sealed finish. The 3/16″ radius edge provides comfort when leaning over the counter. We make the stainless steel counter top out of 16-gauge #304 stainless steel which we then form over particle board. We wrap and then weld the edges. The stainless steel top will stand up to harsh environments. It will resist both solvents and grease commonly used with auto parts. Both the hardwood and stainless steel tops come in multiple widths. This lets you find the right size to fit your auto parts counter space.
