Job Description

Entry level position responsible for routine accounting assignments pertaining to a variety of reports, ledgers, records, and budgets used by the Accounting Department.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in the preparation and analysis on monthly external and internal financial reports.
  • Assists in maintaining the integrity of the corporate books of account by becoming proficient in the operation and maintenance of the computerized accounting system.
  • Assists with the monthly closing cycle.
  • Performs special accounting projects as assigned by the Controller, including assistance with financial and tax audits.
  • Assists in the development and reporting against the corporate operating budget.
  • Balances daily/weekly payroll entries
  • Reviews A/P invoices for sales tax accuracy and account number coding
  • Assists with A/P when needed

Qualifications and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with a preferred major in Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Interest in Cost Accounting a plus.
  • Some part time accounting/bookkeeping experience is helpful.

Job Description

Responsible for credit and collection functions for an assigned segment of dealers. This position will accommodate a flexible schedule looking to work 20-40 hrs a week. 

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and identify accounts with outstanding debits
  • Contacts delinquent accounts on a regular and timely basis via phone and/or email on a regular and timely basis to resolve delinquencies and advises Lead Credit Analyst of matters requiring special attention.
  • Report collection activity/account receivable status and update account status records and collection efforts for accurate information.
  • Works with customers, dealers, field sales personnel, office and warehouse personnel to resolve a variety of customer and internal inquiries regarding deductions/credits/disputes, such as credit for returned goods, shortages, pricing and other questions related to credit and customer relations matters.
  • Makes a variety of credit judgements on existing accounts within board pre-determined guidelines and advises Lead Credit Analyst of situations requiring special monitoring.
  • Resolve billing and customer credit issues when they arise including investigating historical data.
  • Follow necessary steps to process payments and refunds in a timely manner. 
  • Take needed actions to encourage timely debt payments.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • At least two years in credit/collections.
  • Excellent communication skills are required.

Responsible for performing assembly operations on a variety of fabricated pieces.

Responsibilities

  • Performs repetitive assembly operations on a variety of fabricated pieces such as lockers and cabinets
  • Must snap various pieces into place and fasten others with screws, nuts, bolts, rivets, and various types of hardware.
  • Use screwdriver, hammer, pliers, wrenches, riveting gun and/or electric drill as required
  • Must be able to work from supervisor demonstration or approved sample
  • Check pieces for proper fit, assembly and finish

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)
  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Must be able to work from orders
  • Able to stand and use hands for long periods of time up to 8 hours. May be required to crouch, bend, push and pull. Light to medium physical effort in moving parts and completed lockers or cabinets. May move products up to 50 pounds.
  • Continuous mental and visual attention assembling, fitting, and checking work
  • Ability to use screwdriver, hammer, pliers, wrenches, riveting gun and/or electric drill
  • Ability to work independently and safely
  • Mechanical aptitude would be a plus
