Cabinet-to-Leg Configuration
We make the stringer from heavy-duty steel. Stringer widths are 26-inch to 45-inch depending on the workbench configuration. The stringer fits in the leftover space between the panel leg and the cabinet. Choose the worksurface and cabinet width to get the correct sized stringer for your workbench. Adding this stringer instantly adds extra stability to your workbench. This stringer also includes our powder coat paint finish that can match your modular cabinet. This durable finish protects the shelves from harsh everyday use.
If you center mounting a slender wide cabinet under a 72″ wide work surface be sure to choose the 251STR36 cabinet-to-leg stringer. It is a shorter stringer designed specifically for a center mounted set up like our Concept 5 Workbench.
Assembly and Installation
The cabinet-to-leg stringer fits with a standard workbench configuration where the cabinet fits underneath the worksurface. Use the included brackets to attach the stringer to both the panel leg and modular cabinet.
