Create your own locker room bench with these aluminum trapezoid pedestals. Locker room benches create ideal seating in both locker rooms and other common spaces. The right indoor bench is the final piece for your locker room project! These metal bench supports will fit with both the Lyon hardwood locker room bench tops as well as our plastic laminate bench tops. These sturdy aluminum trapezoid pedestals are available in a black anodized finish. These durable aluminum pedestals will resist rust and corrosion so that they can stand up to years of heavy-duty use. We proudly manufacture these bench pedestals in the USA.
Steel Pedestal Features
Lyon’s aluminum trapezoid pedestals add extra strength to your indoor school bench. Lyon constructs the school gym bench pedestals out of 1/4-inch by 3-inch bar stock. Each of the aluminum bench legs are 16-1/4-inches-high. The wide base makes it more stable than traditional locker room bench pedestal designs. The pre-drilled holes on both ends of the bases allow you to quickly attach the aluminum trapezoid pedestals to the bench top and floor.
Assembly and Installation
For maximum stability, we recommend not exceeding more than 6-feet between aluminum bench legs. Use the included lag bolts to attach the pedestals to your bench top. Maximum bench overhang from middle of this pedestal must not exceed 6-inches. We include anti-slip strips to help keep your school benches in place when used for portable locker benches. These locker bench pedestals are also designed to be used in a fixed position. We pre-punch holes in the base of our aluminum trapezoid pedestals for anchoring. We strongly recommend you secure your locker room bench pedestals to the floor for safety if using it in a fixed position.
