Description
Use the Lyon back-to-back tie to join 2 sections of 8000 series Industrial Steel Shelving together. The back-to-back tie helps maintain stability and spacing on 8000 series industrial metal shelving without interfering with storage space. Create uniform rows of back-to-back shelving with ease when using shelf accessories like this tie. Ensuring that double rows of shelving are straight will make sure your aisle spacing is correct.
We make the back-to-back tie out of heavy-duty steel. These ties fit on both open and closed shelving sections with 8000 series t-post uprights. Use the 2 included nuts and bolts to mount the tie directly to the 2 t-post uprights. The bolts will fit into one of the keyhole slots along the T-Post Uprights. Lyon recommends using 2 ties on each end upright post as well as every other upright post in between.
Even though the back-to-back tie helps add support and stability, you should also anchor your shelving to the floor. Make sure your Lyon shelving is plumb and level before anchoring it. Only use properly rated concrete wedge anchors. Lyon proudly makes all 8000 series industrial metal shelving parts in the USA.
