The closed bookcase with doors offers even more storage space for items above your Lyon modular workbench. It fits neatly on top of the Bookcase Riser. This closed cabinet allows for quick and easy access to items that do not fit as well into drawers. You can choose both a cabinet color and a door color for your unit. Bookcase Unit

Lyon makes the closed bookcase with doors out of heavy-gauge steel. The bookcase cabinet has an overall depth of 14-inches which allows more head clearance above your work surface. The flat bottom of this unit allows you to attach the unit directly to your bookcase riser. This unit also includes one adjustable shelf with 100 lb weight capacity. Easily adjust this shelf on 3/4-inch vertical centers. The 1-inch high raised edge on the sides and back of each shelf help keep small items from slipping between the shelf and the cabinet. An additional base shelf sets flush in the bottom of the cabinet to create a flat bottom.

Door and Locking Option

The closed bookcase features two swing doors. A continuous hinge keeps each door in alignment. The doors also open 180° and close flush. Magnetic door stops hold the doors closed when the cabinet is not in use. The right swing door also includes a Lock For Security. The two point keyed locking system secures the door closed and includes two keys.

Assembly and Installation

The bookcase with doors ships assembled. Lyon recommends that this unit be secured. Use the included fasteners to attach the bookcase directly to your bookcase riser. This unit can also be installed onto to a wall. (Lyon does not provide wall mounting hardware)
