Description

Create your own locker room bench with these steel pedestals. Locker room benches create ideal seating in both locker rooms and other common spaces. The right indoor bench is the final piece for your locker room project! These metal bench supports will fit with both the Lyon hardwood locker room bench tops as well as our plastic laminate bench tops. We put a powder coat paint finish on our steel pedestals for added protection. These durable pedestals will stand up to years of heavy-duty use.

Pedestal Features

Lyon’s steel pedestals add extra strength to your indoor school bench. Lyon constructs the school gym bench pedestals out of 14-gauge steel with 1-5/8-inch tubing uprights. Each of the steel bench legs are 16-1/2-inches-high. The wide 8-1/4-inch diameter base on the top and bottom offer even more stability for the bench. The pre-drilled holes on both ends of the bases allow you to quickly attach the steel pedestals to the bench top and floor. Three bolts/anchors are recommended for each end of the pedestal.

PDQ Program

Lyon’s steel pedestals is also part of the Lyon PDQ locker program. We offer these bench pedestals in the same 10 finishes to match the PDQ lockers that can ship faster than our made to order lockers. This will provide you the ability to match locker room seating to match your lockers. Dove Gray and Putty finishes are standard finishes and we keep them in stock so they can ship out quickly.

Assembly and Installation

For maximum stability, we recommend not exceeding more than 6-feet between steel pedestals. Use the included lag bolts to attach the pedestals to your bench top. These locker bench pedestals are designed to be used in a fixed position. We also include concrete wedge anchors for you to properly secure the bench pedestals. We strongly recommend you secure your steel pedestals to the floor for safety.

Assembly Instructions

We take pride in the quality of every order and ensure each item is carefully inspected before leaving our facility. However, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, this stock item may be returned within 30 days of delivery and will be subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee. Please carefully check your shipment for any visible damage or shortages and note these issues clearly on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing for the delivery. If the damage appears severe, you have the option to refuse the shipment.
