Combine 2 or more modular cabinets below Lyon’s steel work surface for an instant workstation. This metal top provides an ideal work surface for heavy-duty maintenance work. The 12-gauge formed panel has reinforcing channels which creates a durable workbench top.
The 30-inch depth steel work surface fits perfectly with all Lyon modular drawer cabinets. The work surface is available in a variety of sizes to make a small, medium or even large workbench. Use a 60-inch-wide top to create a workbench with a slender wide modular drawer cabinet. Use a 72-inch-wide top or larger to create a workbench with a standard wide modular drawer cabinet.
Pick a powder coat paint finish so that your steel work surface can match the drawers or housing of your Lyon modular cabinets. The powder coated finish will help protect your workbench surface from everyday use. We include the hardware to attach this bench top to either a modular drawer cabinet or a panel leg. Lyon makes these workbench components in the USA.
Please note that the steel work surface is heavy and should be used in a configuration that includes at least 1 modular drawer cabinet. It is not for use with any workbench configuration that uses 2 panel legs.
