Lyon’s wheel and tire storage rack is ideal for dealerships, tire shops, and mechanics whom offer tires. Easily store tires and wheels using vertical space so that it doesn’t take up too much space on your shop floor or in your parts warehouse. Everything you need to assemble and anchor one vertical tire storage rack section is included. We offer our adjustable tire storage rack with a durable powder coat finish available in Dove Gray. The powder coat paint finish will help protect your industrial tire racks from everyday use.

LADDER UPRIGHTS

Our wheel and tire storage rack features 14-gauge ladder uprights. The ladder braces bolt to the uprights to create a sturdy and solid rack upright. The slots of the uprights provide a quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams to create optimal storage solutions. The spacing on the slots allow you to adjust your beams on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. There are also no “dead spots” in the upright posts to disrupt your placement of beams along the entire height of the post. One pair of steel tire rack uprights can hold up to 10,000 lbs.

HEAVY-DUTY BEAMS

The wheel and tire storage rack includes six beams to create three levels. Lyon makes the heavy-duty beams of 14-gauge steel. Our unique “Z” beam design increases the strength and load capacity of the the steel beams while also resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. The MIG welded beam clips give added strength. Each end of the beam has three studs to engage the heavy-duty tire rack upright slots. Easily adjust the beams on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Since the beams install without tools it’s easy to adjust your level spacing when your storage needs change. A fold in lock tab easily engages with the post so beams don’t get displaced. Each pair of 60-inch-wide heavy-duty beams can hold up to 2,600 lbs.

FRONT-TO-BACK SUPPORTS

This wheel and tire storage rack includes a front-to-back support with each level. The supports install easily onto the heavy-duty tire storage rack without tools. The supports help minimize beam rotation when supporting heavy loads. This maintains both the rigidity and stability of your industrial tire storage racks.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

While the wheel and tire storage rack ships unassembled, our tire racking system assembles easily with some included hardware. Lyon recommends that you properly anchor all wheel storage racks. Make sure to install your commercial tire storage racks plumb and level before anchoring them to the floor and wall. We include anchoring feet to provide a surface so you can secure the racks to your facility floor. Then you can use Wedge Anchors to anchor your uprights to the floor.
