Get Components For Your Lyon 2000 Series Shelving Units
Lyon 2000 series Industrial Shelving components let you build a custom storage solution. You can easily replace or upgrade parts of your existing shelving. Lyon open shelving has open backs and sides. Lyon 2000 series steel shelving offers a complete storage solution for everything from basic backroom storage to integrated warehouse applications.
2000 Series Upright Posts
2000 series shelving uses either Beaded Posts or Angle Posts. Lyon roll forms the post uprights from 14-gauge steel for maximum strength. These post uprights are punched for Lyon 2000 Series Compression Shelf Clips. This allows you to adjust your steel shelving on 1-½ inch centers. Beaded posts are used only in the front corners of a shelving section while the angle posts can be used in the front or rear corners.
Metal Shelving Sway Braces
We make the sway braces from 12-gauge steel. Braces help to stabilize open shelving units. Lyon punches the sway braces so that you can easily attach them to the 2000 series open uprights with nuts and bolts. You need 1 pair of sway braces on the back of an open shelving unit and both sides of the shelving section. Side sway braces help prevent front-to-back sway while the back sway brace helps prevent lateral sway. An open shelving unit requires sway braces to ensure support and stability.
2000 Series Closed Shelving Upright Assemblies
Lyon offers welded beaded post upright assemblies for closed shelving. They are available in either end or intermediate assemblies. An end upright assembly consists of 1 beaded post and 2 angle posts with a side sheet panel. The intermediate upright assembly consists of 1 beaded post and 1 angle post with a side sheet panel. We make our upright posts out of tough, durable hot-rolled steel. We spot weld the side panel sheet to the steel shelving post uprights.
Back and Side Panels
The closed back and side panels bolt on to the closed uprights. We have back panels to fit both our 36-inch-wide units and 48-inch-wide units. Side panels are available for 12″, 18″, and 24″ deep shelving. We make the back and side panels from 24-gauge steel. Along with posts and shelves, both back and side panels help to stabilize closed shelving units.
Features of 2000 Series Shelves
Lyon makes the Box Shelves from 20-gauge, cold-rolled steel. They have a 1-¼” face on all four sides. Both the front and rear faces have a closed box formation with a 1-¼” x ¾” bottom flange. We spot weld the box formation to the underside of the shelf on a maximum 8-inch centers. Sides have a ½” bottom return flange at 90°. Lyon reinforces all four corners by lapping and spot welding. These 2000 series shelves are adjustable on 1-½” vertical centers. We offer these shelves in either 36″ or 48″ widths. They come in either 12″, 18″, or 24″ depths. Lyon punches each shelf so you can attach Accessories like label holders, dividers, and bin fronts.
