Get Components For Your Lyon 8000 Series Shelving Units
Lyon 8000 series Industrial Shelving components let you build a custom storage solution. You can either replace or upgrade parts of your existing shelving with ease. Lyon Open Shelving has open backs and sides. These are ideal when high visibility is a concern. Easily see what items are on the shelf from any side of the metal open shelving. Lyon Closed Shelving is ideal for storing smaller packages and items and dividing areas. The solid backs and sides of these sections allow you to keep your items organized.
8000 Series Open Shelving Uprights
An upright assembly consists of 2 t-posts and 2 side braces. We make the t-post out of durable hot-rolled steel. Our shelving upright assemblies are 84 inches high. They are available in either 12-inch, 18-inch, or 24-inch depths. The T-Post Upright is punched for Lyon shelf clips. This allows you to adjust your steel shelving on 1-½ inch centers. Our upright design lets you change your storage when your needs change.
Metal Shelving Braces
The cross braces are made of 12-gauge steel. You need 1 pair of braces for each pair of 84-inch-high 8000 series open uprights. The open lateral cross brace for shelves attaches to the back of the shelving unit. It provides stability and rigidity to the industrial shelving unit. We have back metal shelving braces to fit both our 36-inch-wide units and our 48-inch-wide units.
8000 Series Closed Steel Shelving Uprights
An 8000 series industrial shelving Upright Assembly consists of 2 t-posts with a side sheet panel. We make the t-post out of durable hot-rolled steel. We spot weld the side panel sheet to the steel shelving post uprights. Our shelving upright assemblies are 84 inches high. They are available in either 12-inch, 18-inch, or 24-inch depths. The t-post boltless shelving uprights are punched for Lyon shelf clips. This allows you to adjust your steel shelving on 1-½ inch centers.
Metal Shelving Backs
The closed backs bolt on to the 8000 series closed uprights. We have backs to fit both our 36-inch-wide units and 48-inch-wide units. Backs consist 2 half panels. They have 3 vertical rows of holes at 1-½ inch centers so they can easily bolt to both the uprights and shelves. We construct both side and back panels from heavy gauge steel.
Features of 8000 Series Box Shelves
The box steel storage shelves have a design that provides added strength at the front and rear of the shelf. The ends are flanged with a 90° return flange. All corners of each shelf are lapped and welded for extra strength. All steel shelves are punched at each of the four corners so you can bolt them to the uprights.
Available in either 22-gauge, 20-gauge, or 18-gauge steel, these 8000 series warehouse storage shelves provide strong and durable storage. Lyon has industrial storage shelves for all of your storage applications. The medium-duty 22-gauge shelf holds up to 600 lbs. They are ideal for the storing drills, tools, aerosols, and other supplies. The heavy-duty 20-gauge shelf can hold up to 900 lbs depending on the size. They are great for the storing of heavy parts or tools such as wheels, grinders, or sprockets. Finally, the extra heavy-duty 18-gauge shelf holds up to 1,300 lbs depending on the size. Our strongest industrial storage shelves can hold motors, pumps, and other heavy equipment.
We include 4 shelf clips with our adjustable Metal Shelves so you can quickly move them without the use of tools. The shelf clips quickly lock into place on either side of the uprights. Since our shelves are adjustable, your shelving changes when your needs change. You can easily adjust these commercial storage shelves on 1-½ inch centers.
