Find Parts To Anchor And Add Functionality To Your Lyon Industrial Shelving
Lyon metal shelving parts and accessories for the 2000 and 8000 series are the finishing pieces you’ll need for your shelving units. Industrial shelving accessories include anchoring and other optional items. These parts and accessories work with either open or closed shelving units. Lyon has been a shelving industry leader for over a century.
Shelf Clips
Shelf clips quickly lock into place, on either side of the uprights. These clips disengage easily so that you can move shelves. 4 metal shelf clips are the only industrial shelf hardware needed per shelf. Shelves can either be installed or adjusted with no tools.
Anchoring Hardware
You should always consider safety first. Be sure to secure your shelving to the floor. Both anchors and foot plates are available for your 2000 series shelving sections. The foot plate creates a base to anchor your shelving to your warehouse floor. The wedge anchor is the industry standard for bolting shelving directly to your concrete floor. Combine an upright to floor angle with a foot plate to create a base to anchor to your 8000 series shelving to your warehouse floor.
Dividers and Label Holders
Other accessories for industrial shelving include shelf dividers and label holders. The adjustable shelf dividers allow you to break up shelf space in 3-inch increments. They attach easily with push in fasteners so you can adjust them as needed. Adding label holders to your shelves helps to quickly find and pick items. Paper strips slide easily in and out of the holders.
Bin Fronts and Base Strips
Lyon also makes bin fronts and base strips for our shelving. The bin fronts attach to the front face of a shelf using plastic fasteners. They help prevent items from rolling off a shelf. Bin fronts work great with dividers. The base strips help seal off the bottoms of your shelving unit so items won’t roll underneath the shelving unit. They will help keep your facility clean and tidy.
Steel Pegboard
The steel pegboard panel attaches to the end of your shelving section. Take advantage of this unused space. You can easily organize items at the end of your shelf with tool pegs. Holes are every 1-inch for maximum flexibility. Always have either tools or hanging stock at a central location. You can also convert your Lyon shelving into a cabinet by adding a set of swing doors. They mount directly to the uprights and have a built-in key lock for extra security.
4000 Series Shelf Clips
Lyon introduced the 4000 series in the early 1960s. It was the first industrial steel shelving line that was customizable with individual components. It was a go to shelving system into the 70s until Lyon introduced the 8000 series which is our current shelving line. The 4000 series shelf clip is a 2 part clip. You need both a clip and a stud to make a complete clip set. The shelf clip stud easily slips into the 4000 series shelving upright. The shelf clip then slides down over the stud on the other side of the upright to lock it into place.
Sometimes shelving needs to get touched up. Lyon also offers touch up spray paint cans to easily freshen up your industrial metal shelving. We make our shelving from durable high quality steel.
