Easily Add On To Your Lyon Rivet Rack Shelving Or Create Your Own Layout
Use these rivet rack shelving components to create your own custom layout or swap out damaged parts. Each section of rivet rack shelving requires 4 uprights, 2 depth beams, and 2 width beams. Beams adjust on 1-½” centers so you can easily adjust your storage solution. Lyon designed our rivet rack to be versatile. This lets you easily add on, change, and replace pieces instead of entire sections. Lyon has been a rack industry leader for over a century.
Rivet Rack Uprights
These rivet rack shelving components come in two different styles. You can get either starter uprights or intermediate uprights. The starter upright is an Angle Post that is used for either standalone racks or at the ends of a row of racks. The intermediate upright is a T-Post that is used for the middle sections in a row. Lyon makes both styles from 14 gauge steel for a strong and durable rack. They are available in multiple heights and come in our standard Dove Gray powder coat paint finish.
Rivet Rack Beams
These rivet rack shelving components come in either a light-duty and a medium-duty style. Light-duty rivet rack beams have a single rivet while medium-duty is a double rivet beam. We make both styles out of 14 gauge steel. The beams will easily drop into the slots on the uprights to help create a rigid structure. Racks using single rivet beams will still require Double Rivet Beams for the top and bottom levels. They are available in multiple widths and come in our standard Dove Gray powder coat paint finish.
Rivet Rack Center Supports
Use these rivet rack shelving components to help add strength and stability to a level of your rivet rack. They help reduce beam rotation under heavy loads. Center Supports are required for beams that are 60 inches or longer. Depending on the beam length, you will need either 1 or 2 center supports. Lyon pre-drills the beams so you can easily install the supports with the included hardware. You can get rivet rack center supports in our standard Dove Gray powder coat paint finish.
Rivet Rack Decking
Decking panels are the final rivet rack shelving components. Our budget friendly units does not come standard with decking. Rivet rack decking comes in either Particle Board or wire style. Particle board is 5/8″ thick and pre-cut to fit your rack. This decking is perfect for general storage. The Wire Decking is a flat panel that we make with a 6 gauge wire mesh. It features a galvanized finish and easily drops in to the rack level. You can also create your own decking solution using plywood.
