Easily Add Bulk Storage Above Your Lyon Modular Drawer Cabinets
Expand your storage options with these metal overhead cabinets. These steel overhead cabinets provide additional bulk storage space above your modular drawer cabinet. Choose from either a 24-7/8″ height or a 31-1/8″ height for your overhead cabinet. You can easily add an overhead unit to your existing modular drawer cabinet. You can also wall mount them and use them as overhead garage cabinets. If you use a drawer cabinet for tools, an overhead tool cabinet provides space for larger gear. Store overstock for parts and items being stored in the drawer cabinet below. Neat and organized storage improves your efficiency and inventory control. The list of fields where Lyon modular cabinets are used is endless. From storing parts in a warehouse to organizing tools in a shop. These cabinets can get the job done.
Features of Overhead Storage Cabinets
The flat bottom of these steel overhead cabinets attaches directly to the cabinet top below. We include the fasteners so you can easily attach the overhead unit to the drawer cabinet. We make the modular drawer cabinets with knock-outs in the tops so you can easily stack your overhead storage cabinets. There is no drilling required. These units match the five widths of the drawer units. The overhead cabinet width must match the width of the lower cabinet. You can also add the double wide overhead metal cabinets over two standard wide cabinets. This installation will produce a 3/8″ gap on either side of the overhead storage unit.
These units offer your choice of either an open front or with a swing door. Choose between either a locking or non-locking option for the closed units. If you pick locking, the lock will come with two keys. The slender, standard, and medium wide closed overheads include one swing door. The extra wide and double wide closed steel overhead cabinets include two swing doors. Our swing doors open 180 degrees. This lets you have access to all parts of the cabinet when the doors are open. Each unit also includes one adjustable shelf. You can easily adjust the shelves on 3/4″ vertical centers. This lets you change up your storage when your needs change.
Choose one of Lyon’s premium paint finishes for these units. You can choose your color for the cabinet and shelf. You can also choose a second color for the swing door on closed units.
