Uprights and Back and Sides

Our 8000 series closed steel shelving comes with our patented design t-post uprights. We make them from durable hot-rolled steel. Lyon makes both the sides and the back from heavy-duty steel. Our 8000 series starters and add-ons come with upright assemblies. We spot weld the side panels to the uprights to form a sturdy assembly. It will help make assembling your shelving easier. The back panel will then attach to the shelving unit.

Adjustable Shelves

You can easily adjust the location of the shelves on your 8000 series closed steel shelving. Closed shelves adjust on 1-½-inch centers with shelf clips. The shelf clips allow you to adjust shelving with no tools. Our t-post upright design lets the clip easily slide into place. Each shelf is supported with 4 clips. This way your storage changes as your needs change.

Shelf Capacities

Get Lyon industrial 8000 series closed steel shelving with either medium-duty, heavy-duty, or extra heavy-duty shelves. The medium-duty shelf is 22-gauge and is perfect for the storage of either tools, drills, aerosols, or safety supplies. The heavy-duty shelf is 20-gauge and is perfect for the storage of either wheels, gears, sprockets, or grinders. The extra heavy-duty shelf is 18-gauge and is perfect for the storage of either motors, pumps, or other heavy equipment. 36″ wide industrial shelving is available with all 3 gauges while 48″ wide only comes with heavy-duty and extra heavy-duty.

You can use the Lyon 8000 series closed steel shelving either individually or with add-on sections. Starter sections can be a standalone shelf. Connect the starter to the add-on units to create rows of shelving to maximize your storage space for several industrial storage solutions. Lyon’s closed steel shelving comes in our standard Dove Gray finish. Because Lyon uses a powder coat paint, your shelving will stand up to everyday use.
