Cabinet Housing

The modular weapons storage cabinet starts with a steel cabinet housing. The reinforced base also creates a wide opening for forklift access. This forklift base allows you to easily move your industrial weapon cabinet when needed! These metal gun storage cabinets are made to be lifted, fully loaded (7,500 lbs. max), by a standard forklift. Add the removable base cover panels for a clean look when the cabinet is in place.

Each cabinet also includes knock-out holes on the top, back, and sides of the housing cabinet. The back and side holes allow you to secure rows of weapons cabinets together. Use the holes on top to stack cabinets on top of each other.

Drawer Access and Security

The modular weapons storage cabinet features multiple drawer access. This access allows more than one drawer to open at once. Use the built-in locking system to secure your gun storage cabinet closed. The two external lockbars swing on a continuous hinge. The lockbars overlap the edges of all the cabinet drawers when closed. This keeps the drawers from opening. Easily add your own padlock to each of the padlock hasps to secure the lockbars closed.

Modular Drawers

The modular weapons storage cabinet features double-wall construction on the drawers. These steel drawers slide open on smooth, steel glides. Each heavy-duty drawer can hold up to 400 lbs. All of the drawers fully extend to provide easy access to the entire contents of the drawer. The aluminum handles include rounded end caps and will withstand years of use. Each metal gun cabinet includes both removable labels and plastic shields for the handles.

Pistol Storage

The modular weapons storage cabinet can hold up to 220 pistols. Each drawer has a foam insert with notches to hold 44 handguns. A bottom polyester mesh liner is also included below the foam insert to protect the surface of the weapons. Using these inserts keeps the weapons from sliding around in the drawer and saves against damage.

Rifle Storage

The modular weapons storage cabinet can hold up to 40 rifles. Each drawer has rubber coated partitions to hold 8 rifles. A bottom polyester mesh liner is also included below the foam insert to protect the surface of the weapons. Using these inserts keeps the weapons from sliding around in the drawer and saves against damage.

Installation and Accessories

Lyon strongly recommends that eye-level height cabinets be securely anchored to the floor. Anchoring the base of your cabinet will help prevent tipping. Each cabinet includes a drilling template. The hardware to secure the rear legs of the cabinet is also included. Enhance the look of your cabinet by adding a Hardwood Top. Adding this top also protects the top of your cabinet from wear and tear.
