The slender wide overhead storage cabinet offers even more storage space for items above your Lyon modular cabinets. It fits neatly on top of our modular cabinets. This open overhead metal cabinet allows for quick and easy access to items that do not fit as well into drawers. These overhead cabinets work great in auto shops or machine shops. You can also use them above a Lyon workbench to add more storage above your workstation.

Overhead Unit
Lyon makes the slender wide overhead storage cabinet out of heavy-gauge steel. The flat bottom of this unit allows you to attach the overhead directly to your cabinet below. This unit also includes one adjustable shelf. Easily adjust this shelf on 3/4-inch vertical centers. It’s easy to adjust your shelf spacing when your storage needs change! An additional base shelf sets flush in the bottom of the cabinet. The 1-inch high raised edge on the sides and back of each shelf help keep small items from slipping between the shelf and the cabinet. The shelves of this open overhead storage cabinet can also hold lots of heavy items such as tools. Easily store as much as 400 lbs on each shelf!
Assembly and Installation
The Lyon slender wide overhead storage cabinet ships assembled. Lyon recommends that overhead units be secured to the cabinet below. Use the included fasteners to attach the overhead directly to your slender wide Lyon modular cabinet. Be sure to anchor the base of your cabinet to prevent tipping.
Please Note: An overhead unit width MUST also match the width of your lower cabinet.
